Effective Communication Through Improv

In this fun, interactive session, science communication professionals will lead improvisation exercises and games to help participants gain confidence and positive communication skills.

This workshop teaches how to use improvisational techniques to improve your communication skills. Interact with other MRS Meeting attendees in a fun and encouraging environment to practice vocal and visual communication, and to learn how to think on your feet in unexpected or uncomfortable situations. Participants will then explore how they can use these skills to effectively present their science to the public during outreach events.

All attendees are required to participate for the full 90 minutes. No "observers" will be permitted in the room.
